Needlecraft Corner opened its doors for business on June 23, 1980. The original store occupied 500 square feet. Three short years later, in 1983, Needlecraft Corner relocated and more than doubled in size to 1100 square feet. Within 6 years, this space was outgrown and Needlecraft Corner relocated to a store with 1400 square feet. The demand for needlework materials continued to grow and so did Needlecraft Corner. In May of 1992, the space was expanded to 2800 square feet. Five years later, Needlecraft Corner continues to occupy that same 2800 square feet in the heart of Parkville.

A walk through the doors of Needlecraft Corner reveals a stitcher's haven. With more than 6000 charts and books, you would be hardpressed not to buy at least one!!! If stitched models inspire you to pick up a needle, then the 1500+ models will have you stitching the night away. These stitched models range from tea towels stitched with a favorite holiday motif to over 20 stitched models from Lavendar & Lace, Mirabilia, Black Swan, Butternut Road and of course the Marbek Nativity scene as shown above. And when that heirloom is stitched, Needlecraft Corner can handle your framing needs with either the abundance of premade frames or with the custom framing job that truly makes your piece a one-of-a-kind......
